On Good Friday, 2 April, heavy vehicle enthusiasts will be in seventh heaven over at the Terra Cat Earthmoving Extravaganza - where classic and new earthmoving machinery will be put through its paces in the giant dirt pit.

Wheels at Wanaka is huge but getting around the site will be easy with our Fulton Hogan Taxi Track (internal bus loop).
We’ve seven taxi track stops with the following fun modes of hop-on hop-off transport including two Go Orange Unimogs and Frank the Tank plus Stella the steam engine, Flick the fire engine, horse and cart and mobility golf carts.
And to make it even more fun for the kids -print out the kids passport and tick off the transport options as you take them!

Yello! Cabs can also get you to Wheels at Wanaka from your hotel, or better still grab the hourly town-return Yello! courtesy bus to Three Parks from Pembroke Park or the dinosaur park bus stop.
Three Parks, is located an easy 2 minute (2.3km) drive from central Wanaka.

Free visitor parking is available onsite. This is accessible from Sir Tim Wallis Drive, Three Parks opposite the Wanaka Recreation Centre turn off. Please follow the directions from the parking crew, and keep an eye out for the roving shuttles who can drop you at the visitors entrance and ticket box to save your step-count. Alternatively, leave the car in town and catch the FREE return shuttle bus to Wanaka.

The shuttle service will loop twice an hour from 8am until 5pm on Saturday April 3rd and Sunday April 4th. Jump on board at the following locations – look for the Wheels at Wanaka shuttle signs!

Thoughtfully planned to reduce your step-count, this seven stop, hop-on-hop-off shuttle service will be circumnavigating the site throughout Easter weekend.
Will the next "taxi" collecting you be a tank, a horse and cart or a fire engine? The journey will be just as fun as the destination!
